Two Week Post Op Appointment.

Yesterday I went for my first post op appointment and to my surprise I'm down 13 lbs.

They were quite pleased with my loss, with meeting my fluid and protein requirements and with going dancing already.

They've given me the go ahead to go back to the gym, so I"m looking forwards to that.

Next appointment is Dec 29.

My Surgeon

Jon L. Schram, MD, FACS

Dr. Jon Schram* is a bariatric and general surgeon with more than 18 years of general surgical experience. He serves as a bariatric surgeon at Forest Health Medical Center in southeast Michigan, and in Holland, Michigan.

Upon completion of a BS degree at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Dr. Schram received his MD degree in 1985 from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his internship and surgical residency at Michigan State University/Butterworth Hospital.

Dr. Schram has numerous medical affiliations, including Ottawa County Medical Society, American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society.

Dr. Schram is licensed in the state of Michigan and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
